I write for sexual assault survivors who use graphic content to build up the courage to face their own memories.
I write for those who need to know that they're not disgusting for what happened to them, that even though their souls are now jagged, sharpened from what they went through, that they are still whole. They are still worthy of being loved and worshipped and having a happy ending. Here are characters that have gone through the most 'disgusting' things, and here they are, getting their HEAs and the love they deserve.
I write for those who feel so terribly alone, with no support network, so they can find a community who accepts them in all their jagged pieces. My social media will always be a safe space for them.
I write for those who have gone through what no woman, man, or child should ever experience. I write so that they can work through their pain and guilt and self-blame, using my words when they might struggle.
I write for sexual assault survivors who are looking for ways to tell their loved ones that they need help. Read this book and let's talk about the MCs. Talk about their trauma. Now lets talk about mine.
I write for those who were never given justice. Whose pain will be carried for a lifetime, but their abuser won't know a single night of fear or shame or the feeling of being in a body that disgusts you. I take their names from this form and I murder them viciously. I give them a small bit of justice in a world that has failed them.
I write for those that have become so numb and broken from their trauma that they struggle to feel anything at all. I write deep into the darkness to show them that they are not lost. That there is nothing wrong with them after all.
And I write for all the haters of dark romance, all those who attack writers like me and readers like mine, in the hopes that one day, they will understand what it means to be empathetic to those doing their best to survive after what happened to them. I write in the hopes of a more empathetic world. For a world that won't shy away from discussing these hard topics because it makes them uncomfortable. I write to bring these matters into the light, to start conversations and acceptance. I write to give sexual assault survivors a bit more of the world they're 'allowed in' without shame. Without feeling like they have to hide their scars because they've been made to believe they're ugly rather than the beautiful signs of strength and courage they truly are.
I write because I will always stand with a real life SA survivor over a fictional character.
He will build her throne out of the bodies of those who hurt her.

You can request any book through your library or read them through Libby (upon request if they don't already have them).
I also do giveaways on my FB page from time to time and you can follow me at: https://www.facebook.com/authormirandagrant
And if you join my street team, you'll get an ebook. You can get all of my ebooks this way by making a post rec about my books on FB, Tiktok, or Instagram.
Please do not read my books on any pirate sites as they then get paid off my work. Fair enough if you don't think it's stealing, but letting them profit off my hundreds, if not thousands of hours of work is a real shitty thing to do. Basically, if you find it for free anywhere other than Libby, it's been stolen.
The books can be read in any order as long as Tethered is before Broken.
My personal rec for those who can handle PITCH black books: Madness, Tethered, Broken, Cursed
For those that need to work their way up the darkness chain (nothing to be ashamed about!): Tethered, Broken, Cursed, Madness
Publication order: Cursed, Madness, Tethered, Broken
Timeline order: Madness, Tethered, Cursed, Broken (Cursed overlaps Tethered and Broken). I wouldn't really suggest this one though as I think it's better to have Cursed spoiled than Broken as Cursed is the 'palette cleanser' of the series, so it doesn't lose much in the scheme of things not having that angst.
To read as standalones:
Yes. I also pay for the conversion fees, so your bank should only charge you the equivalent in your currency.
Most likely your bank is automatically stopping the transactions as it's a foreign purchase. You'll just need to call them up and let them know you're authorising the transaction.
Yep! Just buy the epub and follow the directions in the email.
